Biomedic Graduate Earns RM30,000 A Month From Flower Decoration
KOTA BHARU, Aug 31 (Bernama) -- A graduate in biomedical, Mohd Nawawi Mustapa, 38, opts to make and sell decorative flowers to earn his living, and the job pays well, providing him an income of about RM30,000 a month.
Mohd Nawawi, from Tok Uban in Pasir Mas, said he took up the skill on making decorative flowers while studying at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2004 and found himself more into the industry than pursuing a career in biomedical.
"I started my craftwork using forest products and the response was good that I was able to penetrate the market in Singapore.....

Putra Business School Meterai MoU Dengan MIHRM
SERDANG, 27 Sept (Bernama) -- Putra Business School (PBS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), hari ini menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) dengan Institut Pengurusan Sumber Manusia Malaysia (MIHRM) di sini.
PBS diwakili Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya Prof Dr Zulkornain Yusop manakala MIHRM diwakili Timbalan Presidennya Dr Henry Yeoh.
Zulkornain dalam ucapannya berkata MoU itu untuk kedua-dua pihak bekerjasama rapat dalam pembangunan fakulti PBS bagi menyampaikan kelayakan MIHRM, dan ini juga termasuk menyediakan sokongan teknikal seperti sesi latihan kepada pelatih.
"Kami juga akan mengusahakan pengiktirafan yang sesuai untuk PBS sebagai rakan pembelajaran yang diluluskan MIHRM serta kerjasama dalam projek penyelidikan yang bersesuaian," katanya.

INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS TO BRAZIL TO INCREASE 7 PERCENT IN OLYMPIC YEAR
SÃO PAULO, Aug 4 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- According to Global Market Research Company Euromonitor International, inbound arrivals to Brazil are forecasted to increase 7.2 percent to reach 6.3 million in 2016, with the Rio Olympic Games contributing to growth.
