Japan's pre-loved store opens new branch in Malaysia


KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- BOK Marketing Sdn Bhd (BOK), branch company of Japan's BOOKOFF Corporation Ltd will open its third pre-loved store 'Jalan Jalan Japan' (JJJ) on June 2, 2018 at Center Point in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

The JJJ store sells pre-loved imported goods from Japan similiar to its first store which opened at One City Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia in November 2016 and second store at 1 Shamelin Mall, Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital in September 2017, a statement said.

The company named the store JJJ so that customers can enjoy shopping just like in Japan. 'Jalan Jalan' means 'Going for a Walk' in the Malay language.

Under three concepts, 'Preloved in Japan' means 'Good Quality', 'Hargagiler' means 'Crazy Low Price' in Malay and 'Large Stock', the company sell goods including apparel, household goods, baby goods, toys, sporting goods, instrument, furniture and accessories.

BOK hopes JJJ will be a 'Paradise of Preloved' providing customers opportunities of 'Smart Life' (customers can buy at reasonable price) and 'Entertainment' (customers can enjoy treasure hunting and buy by in full cart).

BOOKOFF Corporation Limited is the parent company of BOK, the most famous pre-loved shop chain operating over 800 shops in Japan, purchases annually over 400 million goods from customers and resells.
