KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- AmBank (M) Berhad completed its first PIN & PAY transaction on 14 September 2015 to be amongst the first banks in Malaysia to deploy Personal Identification Number (PIN) enabled cards which are compliant with global Europay, MasterCard and Visa (EMV) standards.
The transaction was conducted in Popular Bookstore, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur which was attended by Anthony Chin, Acting Head, Retail Banking, AmBank (M) Berhad; Perry Ong, Chief Executive Officer, AmCard Services Berhad/Senior Vice President, AmBank (M) Berhad and Ms Chuah Mei Lin, Executive Director, The Association of Banks in Malaysia.
