PETALING JAYA, June 14 (Bernama) -- MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (MyCreative) has released its calls for submissions for The Craft Master 2017 and Visual Arts Pitch (VAP) 2.0. Both The Craft Master 2017 and VAP 2.0 are amongst the initiatives by MyCreative to provide promotional opportunities to the visual artists and the crafters driving the Malaysian creative art scenes as well as a platform for the industry experts to discover fresh talents.
The Craft Master 2017 is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above and aims to discover potential creative talents in the Malaysian craft scene and ultimately to find the best craft products that have the potential to be commercialised (be it modern/contemporary or traditional). There are no limitations in terms of usage of medium (wood, metal, ceramic, fabric, plastic, rubber and others). The craft products should be original, functional, saleable, creative and presentable. The competition offers RM30,000 worth of cash prizes to four selected winners of The Craft Master 2017.
