Integra LifeSciences' educational grant supports acute burns management, treatment

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 -- Integra LifeSciences supports European Burns Association (EBA) through an educational grant for its ‘Share your Care’ junior exchange programme dedicated to surgeons-in-training.

Integra LifeSciences made the announcement recently at the 18th EBA Congress in Helsinki, Finland.

The fellowship programme is aimed at setting up training programmes to develop skills and best practices in the management and treatment of acute burns, according to a statement.

Surgeons will benefit from taking up principles of advanced burn care in highly specialised burn centres and learn about global burn care management and its needs.

The programme will start next year and help strengthen collaboration among established centres. The training sessions will take place in selected EBA-accredited burn centres in Europe.

Integra LifeSciences is a global leader in regenerative technologies, neurosurgical and extremity orthopedic solutions dedicated to limiting uncertainty for clinicians. More information at https://www.integralife.com.
