KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that Malaysia’s National Heart Institute, the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) has chosen SAP ERP 6.0 on SAP HANA and SAP Ariba to gain real-time insights into inventory levels, improve workflow efficiency and business processes, while effectively meeting the new Malaysia Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act 2014.
Prior to this implementation, IJN employees had to deal with multiple disparate systems to keep track of and manage inventory levels, finances and supply chain. This was not only time-consuming and resource-draining, but also impacted the accuracy of inventory management and forecasting. IJN needed a total healthcare solution that was easy to use, integrated, and had the power to provide accurate analysis and real-time insights. At the same time, with the new GST Act, IJN had to find a solution that was also compliant with the new regulation.
