KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama) -- IDEAL Electrical, a company of IDEAL INDUSTRIES INC and global leader in electrical tools has launched the fourth annual national competition to seek out the best electricians in the United States (US) and Canada.
The three-day 2019 National Championship Weekend will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, beginning Nov 7, according to a statement.
The Qualifying and Championship Weekend competitions will include professional and student/apprentice individual competitors, as well as contractor and school teams.
IDEAL Electrical group president, Doug Sanford said: “After we crown this year’s North American champions, we’ll have a special ‘International Round’ to determine the top electricians in the world. Champions from the US, Australia, Canada and China will compete.
This year, the company has also launched the Contractor Challenge and School Challenge to showcase the quality of talent each contractor and school brings to the profession. Over 100 contractor teams and 150 schools are set to compete in the challenge.
The qualifying round events are held through Oct 4 across the US, China, Canada, Australia and Mexico.
Competitors need to demonstrate problem-solving and physical skills using IDEAL tools through a challenge.
