Euromonitor International's new whitepaper explores ways to become sustainable brand

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 -- Global market research company, Euromonitor International has launched a new whitepaper, ‘How to Become a Sustainable Brand’.
The whitepaper explores how companies can utilise different strategies to align with new government policies and consumer behaviours, while maximising profitability.
According to Euromonitor International’s latest sustainability survey, 54 per cent of global consumers believe ethical purchase decisions will make a difference.
With sustainability becoming key for business success, investors are moving away from short-term profit and injecting capital into more sustainable companies.
The market for sustainable packaged food and non-alcoholic drinks was worth over US$1 trillion in 2018 and is expected to increase by 18.5 per cent by 2023. (US$1 = RM4.17)
Opposing the throwaway culture, one-fifth of the global consumer population prefers to repair damaged items whereby, the shift in consumer behaviour is leading brands to respond accordingly.
