Hytera LTE body-worn camera VM780 comes with better features

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 -- Hytera has presented its LTE body-worn camera -  the VM780 - which can capture HD videos to provide evidence for trial.

With the increasing need for enforcement transparency, the body-worn cameras have been used among law enforcement agencies for better accountability between the police officers and civilians.

By exposing bad or good behaviours, the body-worn cameras can also act as a deterrent against the misuse of force by police officers and violent behaviour of citizens, according to a statement.

This camera can also send live videos back to the control centre over a 4G network to aid the dispatcher with what is happening, enhance real-time situational awareness, and facilitate decision-making.

One of the most notable features is the 216-degree rotatable HD camera to allow users to adjust the angle and capture pictures or videos in an optimal view without removing the camera from the gear.

Equipped with a 3,500 mAh battery, the camera supports up to nine hours of continuous recording, offering a 64 GB/128 GB storage capacity – equivalent to 40/80 hours of recorded footages.

Hytera provides a complete solution to manage the body-worn camera and digital evidence from the field to the court. The camera offers a wide range of accessories including belt clip, power adapter, USB earphone and data cable to fit different situations.
