KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 -- PPG will highlight its full range of aerospace products and services at the Singapore Airshow in the republic’s Changi Exhibition Centre from Feb 11 to 16.

Held biannually, the Singapore Airshow is Asia’s largest aerospace and defence event, according to a statement.

The PPG booth (D79) will showcase an array of innovative industry offerings, including coatings, sealants, transparencies, packaging and application systems, engineered materials and transparent armour, as well as chemical management.

In addition to its broad range of lightweight and sustainable products, the company will feature its PPG SOLARON BLUE PROTECTION™ UV+ blocking technology for aircraft windows to protect aircrews, passengers and aircraft interiors from solar radiation.

PPG is investing in a new 38,750-square-foot (3,600-square-metre) application support centre (ASC) at Seletar Aerospace Park near the Seletar Airport in Singapore. To date, the project is the company’s largest investment in Southeast Asia.

Scheduled for completion mid-year, the ASC will accommodate increased demand for aerospace sealants, adhesives, coatings, transparencies, chemical management services and the packaging of third-party products.
