Curtains down on Tokyo International Film Festival after physical screenings, online events

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 -- ‘Hold Me Back’ directed by Akiko Ohku recently received the Audience Award at the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) Closing Ceremony.

At the film festival, 138 films selected from 1,356 submissions from 107 countries and regions were screened from Oct 31 to Nov 9.

The Japan Foundation Asia Center (JF) and TIFF, currently in their seventh year of collaboration, co-hosted the conversation series ‘Asia Lounge’ this year.
