KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27
(Bernama) -- The winners of the 12th annual Stevie Awards for
Sales and Customer Service were unveiled last Friday night at a gala ceremony
in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was attended by more than 600 executives from around the globe.
The top Grand Stevie Award trophy was won by DP DHL for the fifth consecutive year. The company also won gold, silver, and bronze Stevie Awards for activities in Argentina, Lebanon, the U.S., Vietnam and other nations.
The other Grand Stevie Award winners, in descending order include IBM, HomeServe USA, VIZIO Inc., Sales Partnership Inc.,John Hancock Financial Services, FIS Payments, Carbonite, Inc., Visualize, and Delta Vacations.
Meanwhile, the winners in the People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favourite Customer Service, as determined by more than 124,000 public votes, announced on Feb 15, were also presented at the event.
More than 2,500 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year's competition.
The finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide in seven specialised judging committees.
The entries were considered in 89 categories for customer service and contact centre achievements, 60 categories for sales and business development achievements, and categories to recognise new products and services and solution providers.
