KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 -- ABB Electrification, a technology leader driving the digital transformation of industries has launched an interactive ´Smart City´ to mark the UN´s World Cities Day.
The interactive landscape shows some of the safe, smart and sustainable solutions that can contribute to the design of a comprehensive ´smart city´, according to a statement.
"Our online tool breaks down the collective technical elements of smart buildings, e-mobility, energy management and data centres, all of which can contribute to the design of a comprehensive ´smart city´, " said ABB Electrification chief technology officer, Amina Hamidi.
This year´s UN World Cities Day is themed, ´Changing the world: innovations and a better life for future generations´. The UN recognises smart technologies and digitalisation that provide opportunities to decarbonise cities.
ABB´s ´Smart City´ online tool will develop further as more innovations and solutions are introduced. The online desktop tool can be accessed via https://www.abbsmartcities.com.
