JUDD CAPLAIN APPOINTED KPMG GLOBAL HEAD OF FINANCIAL SERVICES

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) -- Judd Caplain is selected the next Global Head of Financial Services, effective today, according to KPMG in a statement.

He succeeds Jim Liddy who will retire after leading the global practice since 2017.

KPMG has a strong heritage in the Financial Services sector built through an enduring focus on client service, global collaboration and a strong programme of talent recruitment and retention.

Caplain will continue to strengthen this foundation with an ongoing commitment to support financial institutions as they look to the future and seize opportunities presented via digitisation, data-driven technologies and globalisation.

On his vision for the future, he replied: “I am very excited to build on the success of our global practice and will continue to position KPMG firms as the premier professional services providers in Financial Services.”

Caplain joined KPMG nearly two decades ago and became the Global Head of Banking & Capital Markets in December 2017.

In addition, he has also served as the Global Lead Partner for a leading American financial institution and has held a number of leadership roles within KPMG's US firm, including National Advisory Industry leader for Banking.
