Asia's largest food machinery, processing technology exhibition hits Tokyo this July

KUALA LUMPUR, April 12 (Bernama) -- International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition (FOOMA JAPAN), a trade show on food machinery and food-processing technology will be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan this July.
Asia’s largest four-day exhibition, beginning July 9 is organised by the Japan Food Machinery Manufacturers' Association (FOOMA).

Marking its 42nd anniversary this year, over 100,000 Japanese and foreign visitors are expected to attend the event in pursuit of excellent Japanese food-manufacturing and processing machinery.
FOOMA JAPAN will attract exhibitors from all fields involved in the food-manufacturing process, from treatment of raw ingredients to packaging and distribution.
The annual exhibition will also provide one-stop access to cutting-edge products, technologies, services and information related to food.
This year edition, FOOMA JAPAN has added a new field for ‘engineering, robotics and IoT’, seeking to propose advanced solutions to a wide range of issues, such as production process automation using robot systems for food manufacturing or IoT technology to share and leverage information by connecting various products to the network.
Visitors can also watch, touch and taste products during the various demonstrations as if they are visiting food-manufacturing factories or watching machinery that manufactures Japanese food.
For international visitors, exhibiting company members who speak English, Chinese, Korean and other foreign languages will be wearing a ‘bilingual badge’ on their chest.
