FREE ACCESS TO QUICKBOOKS ONLINE ACCOUNTANT IN 170 COUNTRIES INCLUDING SINGAPORE - INTUIT

KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 (Bernama) -- Intuit QuickBooks has announced global free access to QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA), enabling accounting professionals in 170 countries including Singapore to move to the cloud faster, scale their practices and bring more value to their clients and the wider economy.

Intuit QuickBooks Australia Vice President, Lars Leber in a statement said as one of the top destinations in the world for setting up a business, Singapore is well known for its ease of conducting business, from streamlined processes to obtain permits, to a robust economy and lack of corruption.

“With an ideal environment to establish a business, it is then down to the resources at hand to make that business successful, and QBOA is exactly the tool for this.

“Having seen the benefits of the platform within Singapore, the knock-on effect of the global rollout will be significant, for accounts and the small businesses they support,” he said.

Meanwhile, TNB Global, Singapore, Lily Tan said: “QuickBooks Online Accountant has been a game-changer. It has helped drive greater efficiency in our practice by allowing us to access our clients’ books at any time, anywhere and streamlined our productivity and outputs with accountant-only tools.

“The certification training and product support help to make QuickBooks Online Accountant simple to use, helping me become a better advisor to my clients.”

Developed with a select group of accountants globally over the past 12 months, QBOA is a refined suite of benefits to help professional accountants move to the cloud faster and drive greater efficiency and scalability of their firms.

QBOA features include singular login and dashboard view of real-time and historic client data, current projects and deadlines; automated transactions and specific rules classifying data, minimising manual data entries and reducing risk of errors; and options to use workflows to send reminders to the right people at the right time and automate common tasks.

Intuit serves more than 100 million customers worldwide and is one of the biggest software companies in the world, with Intuit QuickBooks now the first provider in the market to deliver at this scale for the accounting profession.
