KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- Project Management Institute (PMI) has announced the appointment of Sunil Prashara as president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately.
In his new roles, he will serve as the lead advocate for PMI’s global organisation and oversee the implementation of PMI’s new strategic plan and guide the organisation towards a future designed to help millions of project professionals worldwide.
“I look forward to working with the team at PMI to deliver on a bold, new multi-year initiative designed to sharpen the organisation’s strategic direction, enhance its technological capabilities and deliver unparalleled value to our members, volunteers, chapters and project professionals,” he said.
Prashara brings more than three decades of valuable global leadership to PMI, with a solid track record of setting strategies, delivering large scale transformation agendas, and meeting growth and profit challenges for international organisations.
Prior to joining PMI, he served as CEO of i1too Ltd in the United Kingdom, a sales accelerator for digital start-ups. He also held numerous executive leadership positions throughout the information and communications technology and telecommunications industries.
